63-year-old Luke Russell, from Brookesmith, Texas, died last Wednesday after driving the wrong way down U.S. Highway 84.
According to Texas DPS, Russell was driving west on the eastbound portion of the highway near Star, Texas at about 9:15 p.m. His 2000 Mazda pickup truck was hit by an eastbound 18-wheeler. Russell was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt in the crash.
