An 18-wheeler tanker truck spilled 250 gallons of fuel on Monday after it flipped over while making a sharp turn on Highway 288 in Lake Jackson, Texas.
According to police officials, the crash happened at about 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 288 and FM Road 2004. Both roads were shut down for several hours while cleanup occurred.
Police investigators stated that they think speed was a factor in the crash.
The truck driver, unidentified at this time, was sent to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
