Seven people in Fort Bend County, Texas were treated at a hospital Wednesday after their passenger bus collided into the back of an 18-wheeler. According to police the bus driver attempted to pass the truck, but lost control and hit the rear end of the truck. Police stated that a citation could possibly be issued pending further investigation.
Thankfully no one was in critical or life-threatening condition, according to police. Some of the passengers were injured when their luggage and other items fell on them due to the collision. The bus was heading to San Luis Potosi, Mexico from Houston, a 750 mile trip.
The accident took place off of Highway 59 and FM 360, southwest of Houston.
