Multiple large truck crashes took place last night in the greater Los Angeles area last night. According to reports, one person was killed when a big rig flipped over while exiting from westbound Freeway 105 to northbound Freeway 710 in the Paramount area.
This particular accident took authorities about 4 hours to clear up. Unfortunately due to heavy overnight rain, more crashes kept coming. The California Highway Patrol stated that 165 collisions were reported between 7 p.m. and midnight on Thursday just in Los Angeles County. For comparison, only 54 crashes occurred in that same time frame the previous Thursday, when conditions were dry, making for a threefold increase due to the rain.
