Bethany Kahler, a 26-year-old woman from Mogadore, Ohio, was killed Wednesday morning when an 18-wheeler truck failed to yield the right of way and crashed into her.
The collision took place on S.R. 44 near U.S. Route 62 at about 8 a.m. According to police, an unidentified 64-year-old male truck driver pulled in front of Kahler while coming off of the highway ramp.
Both vehicles crashed, causing Kahler’s sedan to go under the trailer of the 18-wheeler. Kahler was pronounced dead at the scene.
