1 person was injured Thursday afternoon when their SUV crashed into an 18-wheeler just outside Washington, North Carolina.
The individual was flown to Vidant Medical Center by helicopter, according to the Highway Patrol.
No reports have been given on who may have been at fault, or how serious the injuries were. The highway was completely shut down for about an hour and a half after the wreck.
