The driver of a black sedan was killed early Friday morning after crashing their car into the back of an 18-wheeler truck.
According to the Mesquite Police Department, the crash took place on Interstate 30 near Motley Drive at about 2 a.m. The driver of the sedan has not yet been identified.
Police stated that the driver died on impact. No official cause for the wreck has been given at this time, and police have not yet stated whether any citations or charges were filed following the crash.
