Brady Burger, 23, was killed earlier this week when he was riding his motorcycle and was hit by a set of tires that had separated from the trailer of an 18-wheeler.
The incident happened on Interstate 35 near Mayhill Road. Police reports indicate that a set of two tires came loose from a trailer that was driving northbound on the opposite side of the road. The wheels reportedly stayed together and went over the divider, striking Burger in the southbound lanes.
The two wheels then hit another car, but fortunately did not cause any injuries here.
Reports state that the driver of the 18-wheeler truck did stop to provide assistance.
