A wrong way driver on Interstate 35 set off a deadly chain reaction early Monday morning. The events leading up to the deadly trucking accident began at around 3 a.m. Monday morning when a small sedan was spotted driving south in the Northbound lanes of I-35 in Schertz, Texas near San Antonio. The wrong way driver caused an initial car accident that resulted in only minor injuries. A tanker truck driver, however, failed to see the initial crash and drove through the car accident scene striking and killing two good samaritans that stopped to render aid in response to the first car accident. The other victim was the wrong way driver that caused the initial car accident. Five other individuals were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries. There is no word at this time if alcohol played a role in this horrific accident.
