Trucking Accident Kills Two Dallas Area Woman

Amanda Omo-Iyamu of Balch Springs, Texas, and Shun Jones, of Carrollton, Texas were killed in Colorado when they were struck by a large truck while changing a tire on the side of a Colorado highway. Exactly who was driving the truck was a source of confusion. It is now being reported that a 16 year old teen named Tristan Martin, from Sulpher Springs, Louisiana, was driving the truck at the time of the trucking accident. At the scene of the trucking accident, however, Tristan’s father, Michael, took the blame for the accident while Tristan fled with some of his friends that were following them from a rodeo in Oklahoma on their way to Wyoming. Tristan and Michael were both arrested and face charges pertaining to the truck wreck and their actions following the accident. Investigators are now trying to determine if a 16 year old driving the truck violated Federal trucking regulations.
