Another tragedy is directly related to the severe weather in Texas over the last week. A nineteen year old Plano teenager, died in a car accident when the car he was driving spun out of control on the icy roads near Austin before striking an 18 wheeler. His car then struck the retaining wall, and the commercial truck struck a second vehicle. Fortunately, no one in the second car was seriously injured. Three passengers in the car that lost control were also injured, but it is unclear at this time the severity of their injuries and their long term prognosis.
