A truck driver from Alabama died last week while operating his 18-wheeler truck. Kenneth Wheeler, 54, was hauling frozen chicken on Highway 49 near Magee, Mississippi, on Thursday night when his truck flipped over after hitting a car on the highway.
Details are not yet clear on what exactly caused Wheeler and the other passenger vehicle to collide. However, after the 18-wheeler turned on its passenger side, the roof of the cab was hit by another vehicle, resulting in Wheeler’s death.
Highway 49 was closed throughout the night as cleanup and investigation took place.
