A teenager from Lahoma, Oklahoma was hospitalized in critical condition after suffering injuries in a two-vehicle car wreck Monday afternoon.
The accident took place around 5 p.m. Willis Lee Adams was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck and turned left, only to be struck by a 16-year-old female driving a Chevy Cavalier. The teenagers were not identified by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The passenger in the Cavalier, a
male teenager, was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was reportedly in critical condition with head, neck, trunk, arm, and leg injuries.
Adams was transported to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center where he was treated for arm and trunk injuries before being released.
The 16-year-old female driver, and a third passenger, also 16, were transported to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. They were released soon afterwards.
Police reported the cause of the accident as being an “improper left turn.”
