Two women from Las Vegas were killed Tuesday night in a crash with an 18-wheeler.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety officials, Tasheanna Roshanda Heath, 30, and Jacqueline Denise Porch, 50, were driving a Nissan Altima at the intersection of Business Road 84 and US Highway 84 when they pulled out from a stop sign right in front of an 18-wheeler.
The loaded 18-wheeler truck hit the Altima in the side. Both Heath and Porch were declared dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the 18-wheeler, Victor Delos Santos, received medical attention at the scene and was soon after released.
The fatality incident remains under investigation.
