A motorcyclist was killed, and another injured Monday night after being struck head-on by a Ford Explorer SUV in Forney, Texas. Reports indicate that the 2 motorcycle riders were father and son.
According to police, several emergency calls had come in about a Ford Explorer swerving around the road and running over curbs, before the same Explorer head both motorcycles near US Highway 80 and FM 548.
One of the riders died at the scene while the other was taken to a hospital for treatment. Neither has been identified yet.
The driver of the Explorer was placed under arrest before being transported to a hospital. It has not yet been reported what charges that driver faces.
