28-year-old Steven Narvaez, from the Woodside neighborhood in Queens, New York, was killed early Saturday morning when his car crashed into an 18-wheeler truck.
According to police, Narvaez’s Toyota Corolla T-boned the large commercial truck and was stuck underneath the trailer.
A 17-year-old girl who was riding in the Corolla as a passenger was critically injured and driven by EMS to Elmhurst Hospital.
Reports state that charges have not been pressed against the driver of the truck, who remained on the scene afterwards. It was not confirmed whether the driver was injured in the crash.
