Three people, ages 17 and 21, were killed in an early morning car accident in Dallas suburb of Arlington. The fatal car wreck happened at approximately 3.a.m. on Southeast Green Oaks Boulevard near Yaupon Drive. For reasons unknown at this time, it appears that the driver of the car lost control of the car, which then slammed into a tree in the median. The impact was so severe that the car split in two. The driver and his brother died at the scene, while a young female died at John Peter Smith Hospital. Investigating officers did find a bottle of liquor at the scene and suspect alcohol played a role in this horrific car crash. Two passengers survived the car accident and remain hospitalized with serious injuries. The identities of the car wreck victims are not known at this time.
