Cristian Cecilio Killed in Motorcycle Wreck With Drunk Driver

A student at the University of Texas at Arlington was killed last week in a suspected drunk driving incident when a driver going the wrong way crashed into him. Christian Cecilio, 21, was riding his motorcycle on the George Bush Turnpike in Rowlett, Texas when Eduardo Guerrero smashed into him, causing the motorcycle to explode upon impact. Guerrero, driving the wrong way, was in a Chevy Tahoe. Police suspect that Guerrero was drunk at the time.

Guerrero was also killed in the wreck. A passenger was pulled from the Tahoe by a Rowlett police officer, just before the vehicle caught fire.

Memorial services were held for Cecilio this week. He was studying mechanical engineering at UTA. According to his father he was driving home to Mesquite from his job at State Farm in Richardson.
