A man from Eastaboga, Alabama was killed Monday afternoon after crashing with an 18-wheeler truck in Lincoln, Alabama in Talladega County.
The victim, Barth Zientek, 61, was driving on Highway 77 in a 1995 Chevy Astro van when he struck a 1999 Peterbilt semi truck. Zientek was transported to the University of Alabama – Birmingham Hospital, where he later died.
The crash is still being investigated by Alabama State Troopers. The driver of the 18-wheeler, Paul Richard Clevenger, 58, was not injured in the crash.
