Audra Evans , 37, was killed late Friday in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Interstate 55 in Jefferson County, Missouri.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Evans had to slam on the brakes to avoid striking the rear of another unknown vehicle, and subsequently veered into a set of median cables on the road and rolled over. Her Honda sedan came to a rest on its side. Just after this, a second vehicle collided into the roof of her car when the driver, Brittney Kopf, 23, was unable to avoid Evans’ car.
Evans was transported by helicopter to Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where she later died of her injuries. Kopf was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson with minor injuries.
No official report has yet been released regarding this incident at this time.
