A Dallas area car accident landed two female passengers in the hospital and the driver of the car in jail. The car accident happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. in North Richland Hills when the driver of a speeding car lost control, which resulted in the car going airborne across the service road and landing in a hotel parking lot. The two female passengers were ejected from the car and taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. It is believed that the driver of the car, Frederick Douglas, was intoxicated at the time of the accident, and as such, he was arrested and charged with two counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle. Police investigation of the car accident shut down traffic in the area until 7 a.m.
