Car Accident Involving Dump Truck Results In Toddler’s Death

An early morning Dallas Fort Worth area car accident has resulted in the death of a young toddler. The tragic car accident happened on Interstate 20 early this morning during rush hour traffic. Early investigations indicate that a dump truck that was also pulling a trailer lost its drive shaft, causing the truck and trailer to stop in lanes of traffic. The car carrying the toddler then struck the trailer from behind, killing the toddler and critically injuring the child’s mother who was driving the car. Officers continue to investigate the cause for the accident.
