An unidentified driver was killed Tuesday after running into a tractor-trailer on U.S. Highway 67 near Main Street near Cleburne, Texas.
According to police reports, the large truck was heading west on 67 when a passenger vehicle got on the highway from a feeder road. The 18-wheeler then ran into the driver’s side of the car. Photos below show that the front end of the car was bent and torn apart catastrophically.
The driver of the car was declared dead at the scene, while the 18-wheeler driver did not report any major injuries.
The crash is still under investigation. It is not clear whether either driver has been found to be at fault for the wreck.
