Several people were injured Sunday when a car accident caused one car to plow into a bus stop in Ahwatukee, Arizona.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, two cars were involved in the crash. One of the cars was apparently pushed by the other car into a bus stop, where two pedestrians were struck.
The incident took place near the intersection of 44th street and Chandler Boulevard.
In total, five people were injured, and four of those were hospitalized, said PFD. A 34-year-old woman and 40-year-old man were both in serious yet stable condition. A 66-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were also getting treatment for minor injuries.
The identities of the parties involved have not been released. Reports did not state whether either of the drivers were injured, nor exactly what caused the wreck in the first place. Additionally, there has been no word on whether either driver was charged or given a citation regarding this incident.
