Lovins Law Files Trucking Accident Wrongful Death Suit

Lovins |Trosclair filed suit in Federal Court in Shreveport, Louisiana asserting various claims on behalf of our client whose car was rear ended by an 18 wheeler.  The trucking accident happened on Interstate 20 in Greenwood, Louisiana, just across the Texas border.  Our client was on her way to a family funeral with her husband when traffic began to slow in front of them.   The lawsuit alleges that as they brought their car to a stop, an 18-wheeler collided into the rear of their car, driving through it and into another 18 wheeler in front of them.  The lawsuit goes on to allege that the investigation into the cause of the accident discovered that the driver of the 18 wheeler was following a college baseball game on his cell phone at the time of the trucking accident.  Our client’s husband, who was driving the car, died as a result of the trucking wreck.  Our client also alleges that she sustained severe injuries to her neck and back in the collision.  The lawsuit asserts claims for the personal injuries sustained by our client as well as claims for the wrongful death of her husband.
