A Dallas commercial truck driver will be charged with homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, and recklessly endangering another person as a result of a fatal three vehicle accident. The truck driver, who was hauling several thousand pounds of steel pipe, ran a red light at an intersection, colliding with two other trucks. The drivers of one of the other trucks was killed. It is not yet disclosed at this time if the accident ocurred due to driver inattention, brake failure, or some other reason, but the company that the Dallas driver worked for had a truck inspection failure rate of nineteen percent.
