A Plano woman is in critical condition after her car was hit by a wrong-way driver on Highway 121 in Grapevine. The car wreck occurred at approximately 11 p.m. last night, when a Chevrolet SUV driving north in the southbound lanes struck the unidentified Plano woman’s Toyota sedan. Both drivers were pinned in their vehicles and required rescuers to remove them. It appears that drunk driving played a role, as the wrong way driver was arrested for intoxicated assault. The unidentified Plano woman remains in critical condition at Parkland Memorial Hospital as of this morning.
