A police chase that began in Los Colinas around 4 a.m. this morning resulted in a trucking accident minutes later in Dallas. The police chase began when police officers attempted to pull over a pickup truck for a routine traffic stop on Hwy 114 in Los Colinas near O’Connor Boulevard. The driver of the puck-up truck, for reasons yet unknown, fled heading south towards Dallas. The driver of the pick-up lost control while trying to exit onto Mockingbird lane, first striking a sign pole and then sticking an 18-wheeler heading the opposite direction. Fortunately all drivers and passengers escaped the trucking accident uninjured.
