An 18-wheeler hauling chicken crashed on Highway 80 at 3 a.m. this morning injuring the driver and his passenger. The trucking accident happened in Mesquite, Texas (a suburb of Dallas). The initial investigation determined that the truck driver lost control of his tractor trailer, which tipped onto its side and collided with concrete pillar. The truck burst into the flames, and the driver had to be pulled out of the truck by emergency rescue crews. Both occupants of the 18 wheeler were taken to area hospitals, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
