Three people were killed in the Dallas suburb of Arlington on Sunday night in an accident that is still under investigation by local police.
Though the facts are still being reviewed, Arlington police believe that a sedan was traveling southbound on North Collins Street and crossed to the wrong side of the road into oncoming traffic, striking two other northbound vehicles.
When emergency responders arrived, one of the passengers of the southbound sedan was pronounced deceased upon arrival, and the driver and a second passenger were both transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Both of them were later pronounced as deceased at the hospital.
The occupants of both northbound cars were reported as not injured. The identities of the deceased individuals have not been released yet pending notification of next of kin.
