Two unidentified individuals were injured this morning in Orlando when an SUV crashed into the trailer of an 18-wheeler truck.
According to police reports, emergency responders arrived at the scene on West Oak Ridge Road to find an SUV lodged under the trailer. One of the occupants of the SUV was stuck in the vehicle, which was on fire.
Several police officers reportedly used their fire extinguishers to prevent the occupant from burning.
One of the occupants of the SUV sustained minor injuries, while the other had life-threatening injuries. Their identities have not been made public at this time.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the crash. An official police report stating the causes of the wreck has not yet been released.
