An unidentified driver was injured Tuesday morning after crashing his pickup head-on into an 18-wheeler truck in the Waco area.
According to police, the crash took place at the intersection of LaSalle Avenue and South 18th Street near I-35. The driver of the pickup was pinned underneath the 18-wheeler before emergency responders arrived and rescued him.
Police stated that they don’t think the pick-up driver will suffer incapacitating injuries.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the wreck. Police did not indicate whether either party was at fault for the accident at the time of reporting.
