A tanker truck carrying gasoline was struck by a pick-up truck driving in the wrong direction on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth. The trucking accident occurred at 2:30 a.m. this morning. After being struck by the pick-up, the 18 wheeler slammed into the highway divider then burst into the flames. The driver of the 18 wheeler died at the scene of the accident, and the driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Interstate 30 remains closed due to fears that the fire caused structural damage to the bridge. Officers are still investigating the cause of the accident. There is no word yet whether the driver of the pick-up truck was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
