A crash involving an 18-wheeler truck, a Megabus, and an Americanos bus took place around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, sending 13 people to the hospital.
The wreck occurred on Interstate 35 East near Milford, Hill County, Texas, just south of Fort Worth. According to the Texas Highway Patrol out of Waco, traffic had slowed down for highway construction when the Megabus crashed into the back of the 18-wheeler’s trailer, sending the large truck into the back of the Americanos bus.
The Megabus had 37 passengers onboard at the time of the wreck. 9 of those were injured and sent to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Americanos bus had 48 passengers, 3 of which were injured and sent to the hospital. Lastly, the 18-wheeler truck driver was also injured and treated at a nearby hospital.
Thankfully all of the injuries were reportedly minor. The wreck is currently being investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
