Robert Clemenson of Atlanta, Texas and Billy Howard of Texarkana, Texas were both killed in a trucking accident in Bowie County. The fatal trucking accident happened in a construction zone when, according to investigating officers, Mr. Howard’s pick up truck pulled in front of the semi-truck driven by Mr. Clemenson. The semi-truck, which was a tanker truck carrying fuel, rolled onto its side as a result of the collision and burst into flames. Mr. Clemenson died at the scene of the trucking accident, and Mr. Howard was taken to an area hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. A state trooper familiar with this area noted that officers have responded to numerous car accidents in this construction zone.
