A 19-year-old man was injured late Wednesday night when his pickup truck collided with an 18-wheeler truck. The wreck happened on Highway 84 West, near Hebron, Mississippi.
The exact cause of the accident is still unknown, but after the two large vehicles crashed, the pickup truck rolled multiple times through the median of the road. The 18-wheeler truck came to a rest on the side shoulder of the road.
According to reports, the 19-year-old driver suffered moderate injuries, and was sent via EMServ to the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi for treatment. A passenger in the pickup truck, as well as the driver of the 18-wheeler truck, both reportedly refused hospital transport.
Extensive damage was done to the pickup truck, which can be seen in pictures below. The 18-wheeler also suffered damage to the front part of the cab.
