L|T Legal Team recently filed suit against Amazon.com Inc. for using invalid codes to trick Internet Explorer into allowing it to place cookies on users’ computers. The complaint alleges that Amazon.com violates protocols established by Platform for Privacy Preferences (P3P) by intentionally submitting invalid CP codes to bypass Internet Explorer’s privacy settings. L|T Legal Team recently filed suit in California alleging that its clients’ privacy rights were violated by Apple, Inc. and the makers of popular smartphone applications, such as Textplus4, Paper Toss, Weather Channel, Dictionary.com, Talking Tom Cat and Pumpkin Maker. The suit alleges that the Defendnats were sending personal user information to third parties without the knowledge or consent of its customers. L|T Legal Team recently filed suit in California against Ringleader Digital and popular mobile websites, such as CNN Money and Accuweather, alleging the violation of consumers’ privacy rights. The Complaint alleges that unbeknownst to Plaintiffs, Ringleader Digital placed databases on their Iphones allowing Ringleader Digital and Defendants to track Plaintiffs’ mobile internet browsing activities across multiple websites.
