Three teenagers from Round Rock, Texas were killed this last weekend in a crash with a charter bus near Austin, Texas.
June Mary Smith, 18, Isabella Torres, 17, and Taylor Nicole Mendez, 17, were driving near the 26800 block of eastbound State Highway 71 early Sunday morning when they crashed into a charter bus full of baseball players and coaches from Huston-Tillotson University.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the passenger vehicle, driven by Smith, failed to yield to the charter bus. Witnesses also stated that the passenger vehicle didn’t have any lights on at the time of the wreck. The three females were found dead on the scene.
The bus driver was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution, though reports stated that no one in the charter bus was injured due to the accident.
