A driver in Houston was sent to the hospital early Wednesday after crashing his pickup truck into an 18-wheeler truck.
The crash took place at about 12:00 a.m. when the 18-wheeler truck was turning left at Jessamine Street and Renwick Drive. The unidentified driver crashed into the side of the 18-wheeler.
The windshield was shattered and caved in on the pickup truck, and the driver’s door was ripped off of the vehicle, as seen in the photos below.
The 18-wheeler driver was not injured in the wreck, and reports stated that the 18-wheeler was essentially undamaged.
At this point it is not clear what exactly caused the pickup to crash into the side of the large commercial truck.
