A serious accident unfolded this morning when a passenger vehicle rammed itself underneath the back of an 18-wheeler trailer on Interstate 78 near Bethlehem Township, New Jersey.
Reports have not specified any injuries to the driver of the car, nor exactly what caused the accident, but as seen in the photo below, serious damage was done to the car.
The eastbound portion of I-78 was closed for investigation and cleanup after the wreck. The New Jersey Department of Transportation also had to deal with a vehicle fire that started because of the crash.
Reports indicated that traffic delays extended p to 3 hours.
