Two people were injured Monday afternoon in San Antonio, Texas, when their vehicle crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler’s trailer.
The wreck took place on Interstate 10 west, near Dominion Drive around 2 p.m. The two injured people were inside a black Mercedes vehicle when it rain into the back right corner of the trailer. The damage to the car was significant, as seen in the picture below.
The San Antonio Fire Department assisted as the scene, and stated that one of the two was injured seriously. Both victims had to be extracted from the Mercedes.
No reports have stated exactly how the wreck occurred, nor whether either party bears responsibility for the crash.
Heavy traffic delays on I-10 were caused by the wreck.
