Four people were hurt Saturday morning in Howard County, Maryland, when an 18-wheeler truck hit an SUV and flipped over in morning traffic on southbound Interstate 95.
The collision caused the entire southbound freeway to be shut down for several hours as cleanup and investigation took place, causing massive traffic delays.
Maryland State Police did not state the exact cause of the collision. After the 18-wheeler first collided with the SUV, it then flipped over onto a different car. One person in that car had to be rescued by emergency officials.
The exact conditions of the four injured people was not reported by the police.
